Cheesy Salmon Patties

This is my grandmother's recipe for Salmon Patties. They are easy, delicious, and the kids love them!

1 15 1/2 oz can pink salmon- drained ( I usually use 3 small cans, not sure how much in each)
1 egg- beaten
1/4 cup buttermilk (No buttermilk? Go here for an easy substitution.)
1/3 cup self-rising flour
3/4 cup cheddar cheese (I use a little more.)
1/4 cup oil

Mix all above ingredients together and make into patties.

Cook in hot oil, medium heat, approximately 8 minutes or until brown, turning once.

Drain on paper towels.
