October 2010 Menu Plan

This month's menu began less than 12 hours ago...so it might look similar to last months menu...I have added a few new soup recipes since they are cost effective and perfect for fall. I've also decided to keep pinto beans on this month too because again, they are cheap, filling, and oh so good! I also had a few recipes that didn't get made last month, so they have made another appearance this month, hopefully I will get around to them. I'm making 2 meals for new moms and I will be trying my hand at a couple of new bread and dessert recipes. I had a reader request a whole wheat pumpkin pie pop tart recipe (like the newly released ones made by Kellogg's), so I'll be making that this month too, along with some other pumpkin fun stuff. We're also having our second annual bonfire, so we'll be serving up hot dogs and smores for that one! So, what are you having this month? Link up below to add your monthly menu. Also, if you haven't noticed, we're only 10 followers away from hitting 100! That means we'll be having our first giveaway here at This Mommy Cooks any time now. I'm also thinking about starting my own weekly recipe swap. More to come on that next week. So without further adieu, October's menu plan!

Looks wonderful! I really wish I could plan a month at a time. I really cannot wait to see the pumpkin pie pop tart, that sounds like something my daughter would love.

I thought I was the only crazy control freak who planned a month ahead. Do you have a color coded dry erase calender too? I love mine!
