Freezer and Pantry Challenge Menu Plan

Well I know I'm really late getting my menu plan for March posted, but there's been a lot going on! I decided to follow in Tina at Mommy's Kitchen and do a freezer and pantry clean out for this month. Of course, I will have to go to the store for dairy, fresh fruits and veggies, and maybe a couple of other things, but for the most part, I am going to try and use what I have to create our dinners. I am doing this in effort to save money this month, make room for freezer meals, and to just clean out what I've got! I am also heading out of town to throw my sister a Bridal Shower this month, so there won't be any dinners cooked on those days either. Do you want to join me? Even if it's for only a week, I challenge you to use what you have to prepare dinners until you're all out! Get creative! I have a lot of meat in my freezers so I'm hoping to be able to make this work. I am going to commit to 2 weeks of this challenge, and if all is going well and we aren't totally out of food, then I'll keep on going. I've never done this before, so it should be fun! Let me know if you're going to do this with me, we can encourage each other to keep going! Good luck!

Looks great Amber. I so need to clean out my freezer and pantry too. We have a WinCo here and I buy a lot of our beans, rice and spices, nuts and dried fruit in their bulk foods section so I have a lot of little bags of all that leftover stuff in my pantry and cupboards. I NEED to clean it out and use it up because it's driving me crazy. I think some beans and rice and granola are in order this month.

Those recipes sound wonderful; what tasty way to cook. I did the emptying/cleaning freezer thing before I left.Happy Sunday.
