Feta Cheese Stuffed Burgers

Have I confessed my love of feta cheese to you before? I'm not quite certain when the love for it appeared, but I do love it so. I cannot have pizza without it being topped with feta cheese. I'm not a huge fan of burgers. I will eat them, but I'm always looking for a way to spice them up. This time, I used feta cheese and some herbs. Let me just tell you that it was one of the best burgers I've eaten. Everyone else enjoyed it as well! I love stuffing my meat with cheese, it keeps it juicy in my opinion.

Feta Cheese Stuffed Burgers
adapted from For the Love of Cooking

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1/4 cup feta cheese, plus more for topping
1 tbsp dried parsley, chopped
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp dried basil
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 clove of garlic, minced
salt and fresh cracked pepper, to taste

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix gently. Heat grill or grill pan over medium heat and coat with olive oil cooking spray. Shape meat into patties as thick as desired. Place the patties on the grill pan and cook until the desired degree of doneness only turning once. Remove from heat and serve on buns with extra feta for topping, tomatoes, onions, and lettuce.
