Homemade Whipped Cream

Last week, for the first time, I made homemade whipped cream. It was so easy, and so delicious! I know I use that word a lot, but it really was! I served it at our Easter Egg Hunt and Brunch with some fresh strawberries. A perfect combination!

Ingredients:
2 cups Heavy Cream
3-4 TBSP Sugar

Directions:
Place cold cream in your mixing bowl and mix on medium-high speed until the cream begins to get firm. Then, add in sugar and continue until nice and thick and peaks hold their place. Begin with 3 TBSP of sugar and add more to taste. The entire process takes about 3-5 minutes.

You probably figured this out way ahead of me, but I've started wrapping a towel around the mixer, or draping it over the hand mixer to keep cream from splattering all over my kitchen. Also, I find that the process goes easier & faster if I put my bowl and beaters/whisk in the freezer for a couple of hours before I make it.
